Being a multi-faceted organization with hundreds PTO plans, it was important that the client had a unified solution for their human capital management. They recently finished the first phase of their Workday integration, and had taken next steps to properly configure their new system. The client attempted to complete the task using internal resources from various departments but, lacking expertise, this approach was unsuccessful. It became increasingly clear they would require the assistance of certified partner to effectively implement Workday across their organization.

Since working together, Planet Technology has staffed 21 Workday contract consultants with the client. Placed positions have touched various aspects of the client’s Workday configuration, including their Core HCM, financial integrations, security, and Prism—Workday’s self-service analytics tool. Several resources were recruited to properly integrate the client’s various PTO plans with Workday’s Time and Absence, Benefits, and Payroll systems as well.
As a result of this engagement, the client is now live on Workday’s Core HCM and the Fins. The integration allows the client to reduce overall costs related to HR and payroll processes, giving them additional insight into their core financials. The client was able to reduce costs through simplified employee self-service as too, freeing up internal HR resources who would otherwise have to manage these functions. Planet Technology is providing Workday contract resources to the client on an ongoing basis, integrating more aspects of their business so that can more effectively use Workday into the future.
